Therapeutic residential facility for girls.
About
Outreach Services Ltd. is a therapeutic, childrens residential facility,
for at-risk teens between the ages of 12-18. The primary goal of Outreach
Services program is to provide holistic care, family structure, interactive
guidance and adult supervision in a nurturing home-like environment.
Outreach Foster Care Services, providing therapeutic foster care and A.S.I.S Day Treatment, providing services in school. Outreach services Ltd. I and II are open and taking referrals for girls ages 13-18. Both homes are Medicaid Approved Homes.

The Mission for Outreach Services Ltd. is to provide holistic care, which will prepare our residents for independence in adulthood without continued dependence upon public resources.
By stimulating our residents? personal growth through on-going, consistent counseling, positive mentoring, job skills training, good-decision-making techniques and life-skills instruction, we equip and prepare them for independence in adulthood without continued dependence upon public resources. Our program also emphasizes and encourages academic proficiency and we continually seek to personally enhance each resident?s educational experiences.
Redential Location
Our home is located in suburban Henrico County, Richmond, VA. The Sedgewood sub-division is a quiet neighborhood comprised of solid, hardworking, middle-class families. Its demographic is a mixture of young and old, professional and blue collar residents. Realizing that the majority of our residents, prior to coming to us, may have experienced combinations of abuse, neglect, poor and/or inappropriate home environments and the absence of positive role-models, we feel that the setting that the neighborhood provides further supports our regimented attempt to show, through example, that there are alternative, more socially acceptable, standards of living to aspire too.

Experienced staff meeting the needs of our girls
Case Management
In an attempt to create a smooth transition into our program and group living environment all residents will be offered access to basic social services. We will provide professional input, oversight and advocacy, on our client's behalf, with regard to any benefits and community-based programs wherein the client and/or their families may qualify.
Individual and Group Counseling
Both individual and group counseling sessions will be held several times each week. Counseling services will be provided, in-house, by our Professional Counselors. Our Senior Youth Counselor speaks both English and Spanish.
Behavioral Modification and Management
Our Program Director, Assistant Director, and Professional Counseling Staff, will all serve as liaisons to the school(s) that our residents will attend.
